Before the Procedure

  • No special preparation is required.

  • It is preferable to have your teeth cleaned before the appointment if there are deposits or buildup.

  • Inform the dentist if you have any allergy to anesthesia.

After the Procedure

  • Avoid eating until the anesthesia wears off to prevent biting your cheek or tongue.

  • For cosmetic white fillings, you can eat after a few hours.

  • Avoid hard foods for the first 24 hours.

  • Mild sensitivity to cold for a few days may occur and is normal.

  • If the filling feels high or you experience persistent pain, visit the dentist for adjustment.
