Before the Procedure

A comprehensive examination and dental X-rays should be performed to evaluate the health of the roots and gums.

Any tooth decay or gum inflammation should be treated before starting.

Professional teeth cleaning should be done before the preparation appointment.

Avoid teeth whitening for at least two weeks before veneer placement, unless it is part of the treatment plan.

Inform the dentist if you have a teeth grinding habit, known as bruxism.

If gum disease is present, it must be stabilized first.
After the Procedure

Avoid very hard foods, such as ice, hard nuts, and bones.

Do not use your teeth to open packages or cut objects.

Avoid strong staining foods and drinks for the first 72 hours, such as coffee, strong tea, saffron, and turmeric.

Brush your teeth twice daily and use dental floss every day.

Use a night guard if you have teeth grinding.

Schedule a routine check-up and cleaning every 6 months.
